I cannot with a straight face give any of these games, GOTY.

how sad as it sounds, I haven't played any of these games. I don't own a 360 and I'm totaly burned out on FPS's.

I have to give it to bad company because you actually feel like your in a war zone when you play online

Yeah I agree COD just feels like an arena with players at random spawn points throughout the map.  Battlefield on the other hand feels a lot more like a war zone with difinitive spawn points and territorial expansion.  My vote goes to Battlefield

I loved BC2, and Black Ops was the first CoD game since Modern Warfare to grab me, but as far as shooters are concerned, no game this year had the combined excellence across all parts of the game that Halo Reach did.  Medal of Honor was just dissapointing.

What surprises me is that this has over 100 view, but only 67 votes.  C'mon people get involved!  Glad to see Reach make a comeback after falling behind.

Please keep all chat related to the nominees, not the games that you think should've been nominated.

It was 40-40, someone changed their vote.

The vote was already decided as Halo: Reach as the voting ended on Sunday. Halo Reach won with 41% of the vote.

Exactly.  Reach displays solid game design across all aspects.  Bungie did an amazing job and the multiplayer is very balanced.  This is why developers need to make betas, people.  otherwise you end up with another broken COD.  Why else do you think Halo games always get the most attention in MLG tournaments? Can't wait to watch the next pro circuit with Reach.
