Destruction - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim wiki

The School of Destruction involves the harnessing the energies of fire, frost and shock.  This skill makes it easier to cast spells like Fireball, Ice Spike, and Lightning Bolt.

Skill-Grinding Tip:

If you'd like to grind up the destruction level,

  1. finish the Dark Brotherhood questline, and purchase the torture chamber
  2. Go to the sanctuary torture chamber.
  3. With a low-level dps spell, (Flames, Spark, Frostbite) continuously shoot one of the torture victims.
  4. If they get close to death, just cast Healing Hands on them to restore health, and keep damaging them afterwards (doing this method will also increase your Restoration level)
  5. Rinse, Repeat
