Active Effects - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim wiki

Each race is characterized by a specific power which is always active or can be activated once every game day and will aid that race in regenerating health and magicka or resist enemy attacks that deal magic, fire, poison and other elemental damage. Some powers will even cause damage to enemies or call for help to fight enemies.

  • High Elves- Fortify Magicka: Passive increase in magicka by 50 points and Highborn: Regenerate magicka faster for 60 seconds.
  • Argonian- Histskin: Invoke the power of the Hist to recover health ten times faster for 60 seconds, Resist Disease: Your Argonian blood is 50% resistant to disease and Water Breathing: Your Argonian Lungs can breathe underwater.
  • Breton- Dragonskin: Absorb 50% of magicka from hostile spells for 60 seconds and Magic Resistance: Breton blood grants a 25% resistance to magic.
  • Wood Elves- Command Animal: Make an Orc an ally for 60 seconds and Resist Disease and Poison: Your Bosmer blood gives you 50% resistance to poison and disease.
  • Dark Elves- Ancestor’s Wrath: Once per day for 60 seconds, opponents that get too close take 8 points per second of fire damage and Resist Fire: Your Dunmer blood gives you 50% resistance to fire.
  • Imperial- Voice of the Emperor: Calms nearby people for 60 seconds and Imperial Luck: Anywhere gold coins might be found, Imperials always seem to find a few more.
  • Khajiit- Night-Eye: Allows player to see in the dark for 60 Seconds and Claw Attacks: Unarmed attacks do 15 Damage.
  • Nord- Battle Cry: Target flees for 30 seconds and Resist Frost: Your Nord blood gives you 50% resistance to frost.
  • Redguard- Adrenaline Rush: Stamina regenerates 10x faster for 60 seconds and Resist Poison: Your Redguard blood gives you 50% resistance to poison.
  • Orcs- Berserker Rage: You take half damage and do double damage for 60 seconds.
