Has anyone here had any problems creating any 1080p videos? Here's a Left 4 Dead 2 video I made [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X8sBsw0oVU] and posted. Recorded at 1920x1080 using fraps at full size and rendered at 15 mbps. The mp4 and the YouTube version look like ass and come out looking generally better at 1280x720.

Anybody got render settings I can try, or some examples of 1080p videos they've posted?

Which program are you using to edit/render?

Here's a 1080p of mine

That was recorded with a capture card but I use the same settings for Fraps or the capture card:

H264 Codec
1920x1080
30 or 60FPS (right now YouTube forces every video to 30FPS so 60 is only useful if you want to store videos at 60FPS)
10-15MB/s bitrate

I use Adobe Premiere CS5 for rendering. I have noticed that Fraps seems to render in worse quality than capture cards for some weird reason, and YouTube loves to kill quality from Fraps recordings for no apparent reason...

Apparently Sony Vegas can't handle it. Premiere got the job done.
