Ding Dong Osama's dead

Makes you wonder though why Pakistan just gave him up and let us in to kill him. It sounds as if we've known he was there for a loong time just couldn't do anything about it.

Oh dear, I sense a "I'm the president who killed Osama" re-election campaign, right as people started seeing Obama for who he was.

EDIT: Obama video on YouTube is just a breeding ground for trolls. Oh this will be fun!

Too bad. Now he's a martyr. The should have captured him instead and put him on trial.

But well....at least he got what he deserved (kinda).

Now let's hope this doesn't increase the violence.

When Hitler died the Nazis collapsed. Osama is the same.

When Hitler died the Nazis had no power base left, it was pretty much only Hitler left. As far as I can see it. Someone can easily replace Osama and now he was killed, their is more reason to attack the west.

However I hope you're right. I think it would just be naive to simply assume that is the case.

@Mariodragon

I think it was a power play by Obama. His numbers are down so this will propley get them back up again. And maybe re-elected note too( a weak one.). But I don't belive it till I see the body.

Just my thought, the reason why they didnt kill Osama first is because they wanted to make sure it was him. America has been fooled to many times wiht doubles. And after watching him for a while they could confirm it was him and kill him. but i would say that Al Qaeda, wont go away. Its just like any great army. you dont have just one guy in charge you have many just in case the big guy goes away. Ya they might suffer for a while but they will most likely come back.

Comparing Nazis to al-Qaeda is kind of wrong, since Nazis had the whole Allied nations on their doorstep and were forced to be brought down because their economy failed, for a second time, while al-Qaeda is basically funded by resources they're selling. The people in the middle east are getting tired of dictatorships though, more so after seeing other countries, hopefully they get into democracies more without full scale dictators.

I mean, I remember an avatar in the old forums where Iraq's vote turn out was 95% and Americas was like 36%. Just shows what happens...

Bin Laden jokes!

It just gets worse for Bin Laden, after being dumped in the sea his spirit decided to head to paradise to collect his virgins and live an afterlife of eternal pleasure, Unfortunately for Osama, when he reached the pearly gates of heaven, Henry Cooper had just taken the Doorman’s job and kicked the shit out of him

whilst celebrating Arsenals victory on Sunday over Manchester United, it was perhaps a little unwise of Bin Laden to rush out into his garden shouting come on you gunners.

@Fratastic

The 3rd Reich was based around a cult around Hitler. He was the thing that kept it all running when the War was nearing it's end (why else would 12 y.o. boys have fought ? Everyone else would have surrendered by then).

But terrorism doesn't need one person to keep things runnning. Most terrorists see themselves as Freedom Fighters.

"Most significant achievement to date" ...really? Really? Killing an old man 10 years too late isn't going to do but 1 of 2 things: Jack and Shit, and Jack left town. I'm glad that justice was (finally) served and everything, but why's anyone proud of it? He was hiding in a g**damn mansion!

I also question, like DrLee360, the timing of his death. Ten sounds like a nice round number, and it came right on the eve of re-election time. Hrmmm...

A bullet to the head is too good for that sociopathic maniac. I think they should have captured him, cut his hands off, slam his face against walls so he's on the brink of death, wait a few days 'till he's not about to die, wrap with det-cord, put a few well placed but non-lethal shots into his chest, throw him into a cave and detonate. I almost forgot, find what parts they could and post the pictures on the internet, just to add insult too injury.

Yeah, because that's way less barbaric than what he did to people. I don't mourn his death at all, but that's fucking ridiculous.

I agree that abusing the man when you capture him makes you far less then him. That's why I'm actually against the death penalty, it makes you no less then the man your punishing: and even then life sentence feels like a more fitting punishment since being deprived of freedom and have to sit in a 3 by 3 for the rest of your life weighs more. On the other hand: keeping osama in jail would be too risky since Al Qaida would do everything to break him free.

For all we know (unless there's hard evidence that I don't know about), he might right now be in some secret basement, turtured by some CIA dude.

If so, have fun CIA dude! Be creative!

Just for the record you know that we are not allowed to do any of those things, we actually didnt have the right to kill him by law, but we did the best thing, We killed him.what we were allowed to do is capture him, put him in court and trail, him and if guilty he is put in prison for life, and we couldn't even do the death penalty. That actually what we have to do by law. But what would have most likely happened was if this was the way his followers most likely would have found a way to get him back and he would be on the loose again, luckly we took care of that and killed him just to be safe.

bip that isn't completely true.. Crimes against humanity, treason, and other extremely high profile crimes all have the death penalty. It's better he's dead, but all it does is give people something brighter to think about.

I'm not saying the death penalty is a good thing, I think that people who get the death penalty should just be shoved in solitary confinement until they die, but sometimes people have to be killed. I also don't think al-Qaeda would have been able to get him out of the prisons, he would have just operated inside the prison, which already happens everywhere.

On an unrelated topic, al-Qaeda actually said he was dead, so either he is, or Obama is working with al-Qaeda (I doubt it). Donald Trump just got a boner.
