Fox News are a fucking joke. A video game DOES NOT make people change their behavior... unless the person is mentally insane and would rape anyone they want to. Jesus Christ Fox. Just end this stupid business.

Seriously, fuck off. I'm an Australian, so I have very minimal exposure to most of what Fox News says, but this is almost unbelievable in the leaps they are making to put down games. Rape is a serious business, but they're treating it as if it's a label they can slap on anything. Bad form, very bad form. Now it's not even just knowing what games are like, it's knowing if the accusations being made actually make sense.

You know what, lets change this story around. Breaking news fox causes rape. Letting little kids listen to fox makes children stupid, to the point to were they dont know whats right so they think rape is good. Executive produce did a study and have proven this after not listening to the station. Good job Fox news for anally rapping our generation up.

why are they coming down so hard on bulletstorm just for making a reference to gang bang and topless I can think of games that do way worse stuff then that.

Because some guy at Epic contacted them to cause some controversy and maybe get some more sales?

I know, conspiracy theory, but it's not that much of a stretch.

The comment about rape is unbearably stupid, but I feel as though you guys are using it as an excuse to bash Fox news as a whole.  In the past, Kieth Olberman (MSNBC), Rachel madow (MSNBC), and Larry King (CNN) have all spoken out against games.  King once had Jack Thompson on his show and congratulated him for his work against GTA San Andreas.

The point of this is not that conservatives/liberals are stupid, but that the media in general is opposed to games because they, for the most part, only come into contact with those games that make headlines for being expressively obscene or violent, and thus have a skewed idea of the industry.  It would be like if the only movies I had ever seen were Cloverfield and Blair Witch Project, I would think all films were shot with shaky cams with no editing.

I completely agree.  All of the news media bashes games without even knowing anything about it first.  Its not really fair just to bash Fox news as a whole just because you don't like them.

Trololololol. Fox News. It's usually where I go when I want to laugh at stupidity of others. Sometimes it's better than Failblog.

It's not the first time the media is blaming video games for murder, rape, etc. Just let them be, who takes Fox seriously anyway?

Just goes to show that ANYONE can be a game critic and you don't even have to play the game.  Sad the level of coverage/attention games get in the mainstream media.

I think anyone that seriously considers anything that FOX NEWS says anymore should probably be barred from reproducing.

Sounds plausible.

Counterstrike and GTA cause Kids to shoot their classmates, so why shouldn't Bulletstorm cause rape?

Now what game caused 9/11 and the WW2?

WW2 is kind of a stupid suggestion and would be even dumber if it was blamed on a video game since they weren't INVENTED yet...

They need to be talking about the soldiers dying in wars, or how the fight against illegal drugs is going, or tell everyone that meth will ruin your life, not that a video game will make you commit some serious felony. Sure, games have SOME influence for SOME people, but so does anything else. Games CAN be an addiction, but so can anything else. There's some extremely small amounts of truth in these pointless stories they're spewing out of the television.

@MarioDragon

Exactly my point.

But videogames are relativly new and many of the older generation (that sounds so stupid XD ) just don't understand what videogames are about.

So of course they blame anything they say didn't exist back in the day on videogames.
