Worst game that i have ever played would be Superman 64. Because i have not played E.T .
i guess Avatar is the worst game i've played even i just played for 1 hour and sold it.
I'm old enough to have played ET. Sucks as bad as you've heard. :)
Hour of Victory...check it out
Well looking back, most of the DOS games I've played where terrible.
DOS was the windows before what you're accustomed to. It basically had big folder boxes as the screen and you could select stuff. I remember having a few games for it, most of them were all copy pastes with different characters (Apogee....) and some of them were downright awful.
I'd have to say the worst I've ever played was Bubsy 3D. Absolute abomination of a game.
If demos count then two worlds is definetly the worst
Most of the people here are too young to have played many DOS games... Games used to be so much simpler haha.
Wasnt a big fan of Dynasty Warriors, my friend convinced me to play it but I just could not hit the "x" button for several hours :(
Dynasty Warriors is one of those games that you can just sit and play to relax in my opinion. Personally I love it, but I know that the formula has been getting progressively more stale over previous years (but I think they are trying somewhat to change it, for example with Empires).
I have bad memories of playing Jeopardy for the original gameboy.
I hear you Segher, I can imagine its a good chill game to play, sometimes it does get intense. They actually made a Jeopardy game? Terrible!
I had a Sports Jeopardy game on SNES. My parents never bought me new games so instead I got games that other kids didnt want (garage sales, neighbors, etc). I remember Sports Jeopardy being fun after I memorized all the answers.
I also had that Michael Jordan game Chaos in the Windy City, Super Ghost n Gouls, Battletoads, Clayfighter, and bunch of other unbeatable sorry ass games. I was like, no wonder those kids didnt want these games.
Turning Point for the Xbox 360.
Spin the bottle with a bunch of dudes...mustaches tickle.
It was a flash game that i played on newgrounds it was so bad.
Yeah if demos count sort the top rated on XBL and go to the very bottom. You'll want the wasted time back for Hour of Victory and Two Worlds something.
Eragon, still have no idea why I bought it.
Well, to be honest, when i was a kid and had these bad consoles i remember that i never played a bad game.
I had a lot of games on SNES and on my first playstation i had like 20 games and i loved all of them. I guess thats why i am a gamer today, and why i think much about whats good and whats bad.
Now i critisise them alot more and finds what is the bad things in the game before thinking what my objective is. Also i am buying good games so when it comes to bad games i think i have really done a bad deal, and it is not very often, but it happens.
Pokemon Channel. The most pointless game I have ever played.
Keep in mind that was six years ago when I was really young.
Oh! Almost forgot! Big rigs: off the road racing. This doesn't really deserve to be classified as a game. There is no speed limiter when you go backwards, so just hold it down to go 1000miles an hour. When you let go of the back button, you immediately stop. Not to mention there is no physics, so your truck will perfectly scale an 80 degree hill without leaving the ground. There is no clipping, so your truck will fall right through bridges; even out of the map!. There's a choice of 4 tracks and 2 trucks, but 2 of the tracks are the same and one crashes the game, and both trucks are the same but have different skins. I guess the game isn't all that bad though. I mean, with no AI, "Your winner!" all the time :)
I'd have to go with Superman 64 as well. I remember playing some really bad games on my older brothers Commodore 64 as well
Well I would haft to say that the worst game I have ever played is Eragon. Just like the movie they left out half the shit.
Bubsy 3D was terrible, I lose braincells every time I hear the name Bubsy now.
I can't believe it took me more than a few seconds to think of Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust. I 1000/1000 the game and it may be the only game that has made me legit angry at a game developer. Having to play it twice because you can't collect all the statues and beat it in under 8 hours made me want to cry.
Rocket power: Team rocket rescue for the PS1 that game was awful.
Naughty Bear. Terrible game
The worst one(s) for me would be the Cabela's hunting games. I got 1000/1000 in a couple of them but the mechanics of the game are horrible. Bad aiming, terrible graphics, lots of bugs, slow, etc. Only good thing about them is they hand out GamerScore pretty frequently.
I absolutely loved no-scoping deer in the Cabela games. Other than that, not too fun.
shitty game trying too hard being something else
hour of victory without a doubt even know i only played the demo but that was enough to realize it was awfull
The game "lengedary" stright garbo!
i happen to like the cabela's hunt game. it might be part of the fact that i've always wanted to be a hunter myself
ZomBenjamin, whatever you do, don't play ET on Atari 2600. It is an atrocity of epic proportions. There's a reason why people buried copies of this game in the desert. But yes, ET is the worst game I have ever played. Should I review it to give you guys a better perspective on how terrible it is? I've got an Atari 2600 and the game.
I have not played it but i have heard about it and it just looks bad.
I'm going with Shadow the Hedgehog, I mean who would wreck the franchise with guns? Also making it 10x worse with no save points?!
Most disappointing game i thought was gonna be awesome but wasnt would be fable 2. But worst game would have to be Wet to repetitive and story line sucked. And im going to have to defend Hour of Victory demo might have sucked but game wasnt awful.
i hated fear that game sucked so bad to me
That hardly counts, I could say anything then because there's bound to be a piece of dog shit flash game somewhere.
Alone in the Dark, the 2000-and-whatever remake. That game was balls. The controls were godawful, it was ridiculously hard in spots, the world was way too big for its own good, sometimes it was plain broken ... thank God I only rented it, because I haven't aggressively hated a game more than that one. Urgh, I feel unclean now.
Timeshift ughhh so stupid and confusing
The worst game I've ever played was Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. I actually only played the demo though, but judging by the terrible controls, last generation graphics, and terrible reviews, I can't imagine the final product being any better. I dare you to try and make it through the demo just once, I dare you.
The worst game I've ever played would most likely have to be Hour of Victory. All around broken, and multiplayer is worse than The Darkness multiplayer, and there are still people playing The Darkness...
Cheetah Man for SNES / NES. Don't even ask.
Cheetah Man, LMAO! AVGN had a hilarious episode on it. A few really funny youtubers have some great videos also. :)
I played a Game on my friends computer and it sucked balls its called Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust. I played it for 30 min and never again.
Dungeon Lords....well I didn't actually play it since the first 5 minutes already "scared" me away.
Ugh only the demo? That whole game is an abhorrent monstrosity of evil
