In light of Bin Laden's death will MW3 and BF3's single player become irrelevant?

Doubt it. If you think about it, WW2 is long over, as is the Cold War, but there have absolutely been games out about it.

Then again, there are those who could claim the single player is irrelevant anyway, what with the focus being on multiplayer.

I love multiplayer but I enjoy a good narrative, that's why I love the Uncharted trilogy

Why would the death of Bin Laden affect the story? Terrorism hasn't ended and the stories weren't about him anyway.

It's not that Bin Laden is at the center of all this, it's the fact that the Israeli-Palestinian people are still fighting a war that has no literal purpose. Sure, he's dead, but does that mean we won the war?

We got involved in the conflict after 9-11 for the purpose of stopping the war in Iraq and to find the "Weapons of Mass Destruction", which we found to be a complete lie.

Why should it?

Hitler is long dead as well and still we shoot tons of Nazis every time we play a WW2 Game ;)

And besides....MW3 has nothing to do with Bin Laden. It's about Russians and Americans ;)
