Alright so I have a Macbook Pro and I wanted to start recording gameplay. What HD PVRs are compatible with Macbook and what's the cheapest buy? Also I have Tritton AX 720's and when I tried plugging them into my Macbook I notived there isn't a mic jack, so is there a way to put the mic and headset in or is that impossibole?

I have a 13" macbook pro 2009

I have a MBP 13" too. As for the headset, you can either use the 3.5mm slot for audio output or input (which you can change in system settings), but not both. My guess is you'd need something that converted that to USB input or something.

As for the PVR. An HD PVR is a specific device made by Hauppauge, whereas your message kind of seemed like you were looking more for an HD capture card. If you are looking for an application for HD PVR mac support, I suggest taking a look at http://bit.ly/iNqNG0. If you are looking for just any HD Capture card, the only other HD choice seems to be the Intensity Shuttle, but it requires USB 3.0 and I'm not sure if the MBP has that.

Good luck with your choices
