Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a game that was developed and published by City Interactive for both PC and Xbox 360. On launch, the game was priced at $29.99. It received mediocre scores from critics, with the majority of the critics praising the game for it's superior sniping mechanics, but was heavily punished due to it's relentless AI, that have x-ray vision the moment you are spotted, and also for it's run-and-gun situations that the player is forced to do.
Although it is a sniping game, it sometimes forces the player to run and gun, and quantum leaps into the body of a US Marine, where you have no sniper rifle, but an M4 instead. The story is a decent length, ranging from 5 to 8 hours, depending on difficulty. There is also a multiplayer option, which seems tacked on, and new players will be dominated by the people who haven't heard of Call of Duty or Halo, and solely play this game.
*Note: This game takes it's M rating seriously. There is lots of cussing. Turn down your speakers if you have children that are sensitive to swearing.*
