Level 50: Mecha No Mistake! - Rayman Origins

In this video, I show you how to obtain all the Electoons and the Lum Medal for the "Mecha No Mistake!" level of "Moody Clouds".

If you're familiar with LittleBIGPlanet (or if you've seen my previous guide for it), then this level might seem familiar to you. Personally, I think it's highly reminiscent of "The Bunker" in various ways. For example, 1) It's (more or less) the penultimate regular level, 2) it's filled with rotating cylinders, thrusting pistons, and machinery, and 3) it's one of the most difficult levels in the entire game.

If you care about Trophies or Achievements, then the Dr. Lividstone, I Presume? Trophy / Achievement should pop up as soon as you enter the second alcove in this level (2:18). You don't actually have to finish it, just merely enter it to have it pop.

Since it's difficult to get away uninjured, I recommend just focusing on the 10-Lum Bubbles on the gear near the second alcove entrance. Get the regular Lum bubbles if you can, but don't worry if you miss some or all of them.

In case you're curious, there's nothing above the highest gear in the room with the many gears and lots of lava. You'd think there would be, but there isn't.

In this video, I show you how to obtain the Time Trial Trophy for the "Mecha No Mistake!" level of "Moody Clouds".

This is the last time trial of the game and it's not particularly fun. It thankfully gets easier towards the end, but the first 33 seconds or so are rife with trial and error. (Also fortuitous is the recurrence of the glitch that removes enemies. It's particularly handy for ridding of two obnoxious robots in the first room with the inset platforms.)

The arrival of the Nitro! Trophy at the end signifies that the arduous task of besting all the time trials is now over. What a relief!
