In this video, I show you how to obtain all the Electoons (except the time trial reward) and the Lum Medal for the "Fickle Fruit" level of "The Luscious Lakes".
Neat trick at 0:34 - If you do a downward slam on a Dragon Waiter who's about to breathe fire, he'll stop. It can be handy in certain situations.
Though it's ultimately not that hard, I still think the first alcove challenge in this level (1:09) is among the hardest in the game. It seems trivial once you figure it out, but I'll confess that I had to puzzle over it initially.
I don't really know what the point of the waiter at 2:05 is. It doesn't seem like anything special happens if you endeavor to defeat it.
As you can see at 4:30, it's technically possible to defeat the spiky fruit by a means other than bottomless pits. Doesn't net you any Lums though...
At 5:56, I demonstrate that it's still possible to get that Skull Coin even if the ice tower below isn't high enough to reach it.
There's nothing too special about the bonus footage this time (especially since the same thing briefly occurs in the main video), but I thought the sound was amusing.
In this video, I show you how to obtain the Time Trial Trophy for the "Fickle Fruit" level of "The Luscious Lakes".
I thought this video would take longer to record, but I managed to nab a decent run fairly quickly. However, I am certain that you could get results under a minute with more expertise than displayed here.
I recommend sliding down the slope at 0:31 as you're liable to get snagged on something if you don't.
It's obvious that I accidentally wasted some time at 1:04 - 1:06, but it wasn't a major loss. Try not to make the same mistake in your attempts.
As shown towards the end, there is an alternate path through the first room of this level. I prefer the path I originally chose because I find the alternate path difficult to traverse at full speed.
