In this video, I show you how to obtain all the Electoons (except the time trial reward) and the Lum Medal for the "Best Original Score" level of "The Desert of Didgeridoos".
I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that the bright green platform birds clash with the yellow, black, and brown palette that's used for the desert portion of this world. I don't know why the artists choose to include them, but perhaps they're meant to be a reference to Angry Birds? The red birds certainly (and the yellow birds to some extent) seem reminiscent of their counterparts in that game.
I don't think it's possible to get all four Lums AND the Skull Coin around 4:36 without taking damage. The gain from that sacrifice is small compared to the Lum bonus you get for extra Hearts, so I don't think it's worth it.
It's not that obvious in the video, but the alcove at 4:47 is actually fairly well hidden if you move through this area slower than I did. The hint that there is something above is subtle and easily missed, or at least it was when I played through this level the first few times.

After 100+ failed attempts, I bring you this. I hope you appreciate it. Or not, whatever, since I really enjoy this level and didn't mind trying to do well in it.
If the timing is just right, you'll only have a tiny sliver of non-hazardous string to land on around 0:50. Even if it looks imposing, I assure that it is possible (though not necessarily easy) to use that small safety zone to quickly hop by.
There's two quick ways to get by the challenge at 1:18. I attempted the first, and ended up accidentally transitioning to the second. If you're very precise, you can use the helicopter hair power to just barely pass the hazardous strings at the bottom. Otherwise, if you have a Heart to spare, just get injured on the upper hazardous string and use mercy invincibility to bypass the spikes nearby.
And, if you're like me, collecting every last Electoon up to this point will allow you to immediately access the second Tricky Treasure. Wonderful!
