In this video, I show you how to obtain all the Electoons (excluding the time trial reward) and the Lum Medal for the "Geyser Blowout" level of "The Jibberish Jungle".
If you didn't already spot The Magician in The Snoring Tree, you'll first see him here. Rather than warping you to a bonus area like in the first Rayman game, he just dispenses tutorials and occasionally some snarky commentary. Think of him as Murphy's replacement (even though Murphy himself does show up in this game!).
Once again, you're tasked with freeing Electoons from their Cages. Many of them are still hidden, but they're hidden in a way that's not quite as frustrating as the way it was originally. Originally, you often had to seek out invisible triggers to spawn hidden Cages, but now you just have to look for foliage covering the entrance to alcoves that each house a Cage and some mini-game challenge sequence.
I didn't originally realize this when I recorded this video, but when you collect the Lum King at 3:04, don't waste your time with the Lums weaving in and out of the nearby geysers. There's a 10-Lum bubble nearby (3:14) and you'd be better off applying the double score bonus from the Lum King there. Fortunately, it's still possible to meet the Medal requirements if you miss that opportunity.
In this video, I show you how to obtain the Time Trial Trophy for the "Geyser Blowout" level of "The Jibberish Jungle".
This performance isn't nearly as impressive or near-flawless as my performances in some other levels, but it's good enough to get the last Electoon and the Trophy, so it's good enough for posting.
The bit at the end is a brief look at a Tricky Treasure level. I'll be back to collect the Skull Tooth from there once I get enough Electoons from later levels.
