This video covers the second level ("issue 2 - Freeway Frenzy") in the Marvel® Level Kit for LittleBIGPlanet. I Ace and collect all of the currently accessible Goodies for this level.
This is actually one of my favorite levels from LittleBIGPlanet 1. I love the concept and design that went behind trying (and succeeding, as far as LittleBIGPlanet can go anyways) to make it look as if you were on moving cars barreling down a highway. This is a rare design from Media Molecule, and it only shows up next in LittleBIGPlanet 2's "Runaway Train" level.
There's a nifty little detail regarding The Human Torch's appearance in this level. The character's head actually has flame lethalization on it, and it prevents you from simply going over the burnt truck instead of through it as intended.
The Collected Items screen is inaccurate, but I noticed in previous playthroughs that this Level Kit could sometimes behave quite oddly (like displaying acquired Level Complete Gifts before you ever completed that level or the incident shown at the Scoreboard in this video).
Revisit: After getting the Invisible Woman Hair and Invisible Woman Head Stickers in "Issue 3 - Mad Lab".
Now that I have the Invisible Woman Hair and Invisible Woman Head Stickers, I revisit "Issue 2 - Freeway Frenzy" in the Marvel® Level Kit for LittleBIGPlanet to pick up the rewards from the respective Sticker Switch area. Then, I cover the Cooperative Challenge (and its exclusive Goodies) for this level.
I'm not sure what triggers it (maybe just time?), but it's possible to get the tunnel's signs to stop spawning. It's not vital, but it does make it easier to get everyone to the Cooperative Challenge area in one piece.
This Cooperative Challenge area is particularly annoying. The closest useful Checkpoint is not as close as it could be (such as at the entrance of the area, like almost every other Challenge) and that Checkpoint only has a measly four extra lives (which is hardly useful for a team of four players). Fortunately, a short distance to the left of the closest useful Checkpoint is a Double Life Checkpoint and another regular Checkpoint. Utilizing those extra lives should make this area less frustrating.
For the player that does the actual platforming in the Cooperative Challenge area, make sure to only use short hops from platform to platform. Otherwise, there is a good chance you'll accidentally hit the Horrible Gas above.
If you have trouble gathering three extra players and/or controllers, remember that you can still play downloadable content in LittleBIGPlanet 2. Since the release of LittleBIGPlanet 2, you are much more likely to find random online players playing that game instead of LittleBIGPlanet 1.
Special thanks goes to the players featured in this video. They go by the PSN usernames of jedi_brad and Exodiafinder687. (jedi_brad's best friend is really just the extra controller of jedi_brad.)
