Okay so I got Medal of Honor today. I deleted some hardrive space on my PS3 and I jumped into the game. I didn't play too much of the game, I just dipped myself in the shallow end of it. I completed the first mission, played a few multiplayer matches and completed the first mission of Medal of Honor Frontline which was included with the MOH. So my first impressions are the visuals are great, the sound is prefect a signature of the MOH franchise. For some reason sometimes the voiceacting and cutscenes were just a tiny bit choppy, I think my disc might be partially damaged or dirty. It's a visually stunning game but, it seems to lack in small details. For example, I shot a light and the sound of glass breaking was created but the light stayed on and nothing happened. Little details like in the Metal Gear Solid games would add a little extra creativity to this shooter. the multiplayer is a nice mix of Call of Duty and Battlefield Bad Company, players can definetly see and feel the similarities to Bad Company since it was developed by DICE. I had problem spotting enemies and reading the mpa, this was partly due to I don't play in highdef so, it makes it harder to see things as easy as seeing them in 720p or 1080p. The maps are good and bad, they could use a little work. I ironicly spent most of the time playing MOD Frontline, an eight year old PS2 game. It is now in hd with trophies. It looks so much better and clearer than the PS2 version, everything pops and it has as much trophies as a standard PS3 game as well as a platinum. So for $60 I got two games that will keep me occupied for a while.
