I expected Sacred Citadel to be another mediocre beat-’em-up, but Southend Interactive (mostly) calls my bluff. A solid evening of gathering loot and tenderizing orcs awaits (provided two friends tag along).

This month, Max Gruber (Whiplash) takes a very extensive look at the fundamental dichotomy between Western-style RPGs and Japanese RPGs.
