Live stream chat shenanigans.
For those of you who don't know, the duo at NGW does a live stream every now and then, mainly featuring them getting frustrated at StarCraft 2 and arguing with eachother in their comical ways. However, I've found the real fun to be in the live chat that accommodates the stream.
It seems inevitable that the chat will focus less on the gameplay, and more on talks of pornography and their favorite 'actors'. How the conversations begin, I have no clue, but many WGG followers seem to be experts in the field.
Porn talks eventually shift to another random discussion, such as last night's debate between Domino's and Pizza Hut. Dan and John are both avid supporters of Domino's, which is like basically supporting ketchup on cardboard, seriously, how do you eat that? Pizza debate shifted into East coast vs. West coast debate, the main arguments being that the East has better pizza/hot dogs, while the West has better weather. No one really won.
To be honest, I can't tell anyone a single thing that happened in the live stream last night. It's clear that a lot of the WGG/NGW community members are present at these live streams, thus creating more unity in the community.
The point of the stream isn't just to watch John and Dan play, it's a chance to have what is basically a conversation with complete strangers. Most everyone in chat seems intelligent, to some extent, and they all get along more or less.
So if you're going to watch the NGW live stream, come for the gameplay, stay for the chat.

Yeah, I forgot an important rule of journalism: Don't assume too much.

Yeah I started to do that when I realized my streams got deleted automacticly by Justin.tv so I highlighted my streams so my friends could see them when ever. And I figured if most people were like me and watch your guides for the voice overs, and podcasts, they would enjoy your streams. But as you know people live in all parts of the world and when your streaming at say 11pm its maybe 5am somewhere else. So with the highlights anyone can watch them whenever.
I live in New England, USA and I think im and hour ahead so its not to bad for me unless I have work in the morning.
Keep up all the great work. And this site is looking good so far.
