Due to a series of unfortunate events, this episode is late in the making, but Simon and Max do their best to bring it back up to speed by talking about a new divergence in video games, and how that's bending traditional concepts of singleplayer and multiplayer games.
On this week's Short-Takes, both Simon and Alex are unavailable for this week, but do not fear, for Max and John are here to save the day! This week, the Xbox One can record your achievements, the PS4's DualShock 4 controller can be used on your PC, Square-Enix jumps on the Crowdfunding bandwagon, and GTA V might come out on PC *gasps*.
This week on the Short-Takes, still more rumors of the sequels (you know which ones they are), the Destiny beta gets detailed, the new Killzone is a fifty (50!) gigabyte download, and Valve' s first Steam Machine prototype is not a slouch.
