BioShock Infinite Xbox 360 vs PC On Ultra Graphics Comparison - Bioshock Infinite

Graphics comparison of BioShock Infinite, recorded on the Xbox 360 in 1080p, and the PC in 1080p on Ultra settings.

One thing that really surprised me while editing this video was how much better BioShock Infinite SOUNDED on the PC, which obviously has nothing to do with graphics settings but audio compression for a small 8GB DVD vs 20GB (!!!) Steam install. I will be making an audio comparison video ASAP.

So the PC is brighter and has more contrast than the Xbox?

You should turn on vsync for PC recording. Call me OCD, but screen tearing is one of my pet peeves.

That aside, they did an excellent job with making use of the 360's outdated hardware.

Looking closely at everything for the first 5-10 minutes of play made me realise that the game was poorly detailed. Once the combat started I stopped noticing the minor flaws and as rvbfreak said above they did a pretty great job with the crappy 360 hardware.

The 360 is 8 years old, it can be forgiven for having slightly under par graphics to the PC. Graphics take a back seat to gameplay in my opinion, and playing with an Xbox controller is my preference, the mouse and keyboard stuff just isn't for me, maybe because I work in an office at a computer for 9 hours a day.
