Hidden Blades + Upgrades

Fists
Ezio's hands are, along with the Hidden Blade, one of the most versatile weapons.  They are very fast and useful for overpowering weaker enemies.  Probably their best aspect is that their counter disarms the enemy and steals the weapon.  This is useful amidst large groups of enemies and stealing better weapons such as a spear.

Special: Throws sand at enemies, incapacitating them for a short moment.

Can Counter: Everything

Dagger
The dagger is a faster weapon than the sword, and more reliable for blocking than the Hidden Blade. It is very useful against large groups of lightly armored enemies, such as the Followers of Romulus. The dagger is coupled with the Throwing Knives, and can reach very high kill streaks with a full knife belt.

Special: Throws multiple knives at multiple targets. If the player has no more knives, then the Throw Sand move will be used.

Two-Handed Weapons

Long Weapons

Crossbow

Max Ammo: 25 bolts           Note: Quiver upgrades are purchased at the Tailor.

Throwing Knives
Throwing Knives are basically the short blade of projectile weapons. They are fast and useful for whittling down groups of pursuers. A well-timed throw can knock an enemy off a rooftop, killing them or giving the player time to escape. Throwing Knives are a silent weapon, but only kill weaker enemies with one hit. They are useful in the first chapters when only lightly armored guards are found and before the crossbow is affordable.

Trowing Knives are only guaranteed one-hit kills when using the Special attack and during kill streaks (with the short blade). Their high ammo capacity makes them ideal for large short blade kill streaks, and can decimate large groups of stronger enemies.

Special: Throws multiple knives at multiple targets (max 3).

Max Ammo: 25 knives           Note: Knife Belt upgrades are purchased at the Tailor.
